Jen Welch

Jen Welch got her start ringing handbells at age 9 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, MN, and has been ringing ever since. Most recently, she became a founding member of Rochester Area Handbells (RAH) in 2017. Jen loves the big bass bells best, but she enjoys dabbling at small ensembles and bell tree. She also plays piano, violin, a bit of cello and guitar, and she recently started learning the harp.
Jen lives in Rochester, MN with her husband Gerad and their blended family, who range from college to preschool. She’s been a publications editor at Mayo Clinic for over 20 years.
