Westminster Presbyterian Church and Covenant Presbyterian Church of Madison, Wisconsin, are pleased to sponsor Handbell Weekend with Larry and Carla Sue, handbell musicians from Holland, Michigan.
Free Workshop – 9am to noon, Saturday, July 15
From 9AM to noon on Saturday, July 15, Larry and Carla will present a free workshop for those interested in handbells and handbell techniques. This workshop will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church (326 South Segoe Road, Madison, WI). Workshop sessions will cover bass bell and treble bell ringing techniques, music for small bell ensembles, British style 4-in-hand ringing techniques, and a reading session of music composed for handbell choirs and small ensembles by Larry Sue.
Although the workshop is free, advanced registration through Eventbrite is strongly encouraged.

The registration link also may be accessed from the “Worship” tab on the website of Westminster Presbyterian Church at www.WestminsterMadison.org. Handbells will be available and music will be provided for all to use during the workshop.
Free Concert – 6:30 pm, Saturday, July 15
At 6:30 pm on Saturday, July 15, Larry and Carla Sue will present a free concert of sacred music for handbell duo at Westminster Presbyterian Church (4100 Nakoma Road, Madison, WI). This concert will feature music composed by Larry Sue for small handbell ensembles.

Do you have bells that are in a closet and not being used?
Do you have a choir that is having difficulty getting started or have ringers that have very little experience?
Are you a beginner and want to quickly learn necessary skills?
Are you a slightly more advanced ringer or group that wants to play music with other handbell musicians, learn some skills, and have a lot of fun?
Fall Into Ringing is probably for you.

Bells of the Lakes Seminar 2023
Seminar for Ringers and Directors is an annual one-day workshop event hosted by the Bells of the Lakes. Ringers and Directors alike are invited to attend classes, network with peers, and observe a Bells of the Lakes rehearsal. This event is a wonderful way to kick of a new season of ringing with your home choirs, as well as an opportunity to learn new skills, and brush up on old ones. We hope you can join us!
