The Conference Choir is for those who want to ring more than attend classes, as some rehearsals are during class periods.
Ringers to fill up to two 5-octave choirs are accepted by special application and additional fees. Once your application to Conference Choir has been accepted, you will notified of additional fees payable, which includes the following scores and a concert t-shirt.

COMMISSIONED PIECE based on the hymn tune DUKE STREET – Matthew Compton – in honor of Jennifer Cadwell’s service to Area 7 as Chair and to those who served with her.

Applicants to the Bronze Plus Ensemble must be proficient in ringing Level 5 music. Up to 14 people will be accepted, where additional fees apply. Once accepted and fees paid, the following scores will be sent and the fee also includes a concert polo shirt.
The Bronze Plus Ensemble and the Conference Choir perform in a concert open to the public on Saturday afternoon approx. 4:15

Special discounted rates have been negotiated with this Hotel.

REGISTRATION FEES
HMA MEMBER RATES:
$250 – Full 3 days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Includes three meals, two concerts, classes, shopping. Also includes official Festival T-shirt.
$120 – Daily Rate for Friday Includes one plated dinner, classes, shopping and the SHOWCASE concert at 7:30PM. You may watch the Massed rehearsals.
$120 – Daily Rate for Saturday Includes one lunch, classes, shopping and the 4:15PM concert of the two Specialty Choirs. You may watch the Massed and Divisional rehearsals.
$100 – GUESTS A Guest is one who is accompanying a ringer to the Festival, who only wants to attend the three Festival meals and two Festival concerts with the ringer, and attend no classes. No SPECIAL Festival name tag will be issued. The GUEST ticket can only be purchased online. The same ticket must be shown at each of the meals and concerts.
NON-MEMBER RATES: – all rates include a $95 one-year membership in HMA-Handbell Musicians of America

CANCELLATION POLICY
Between May 2-15, cancellation refund requests can be made to the Registrar.
A refund of fees paid, less $75 administrative fee will be processed. The $35 deposit is non-refundable.
Between May 16-June 20, cancellations can be made with no refunds available. Please notify the Registrar.

“Helping Hands from Handbells”
4 Scholarships available for the 2026 Festival Conference!
The Clista Wood Scholarship Fund was established to provide encouragement and assistance to eligible individuals to attend an Area 7 ringing/learning event. Thanks to generous donations to this fund over the years, we are able to award 4 scholarships for the 2026 Festival Conference, June 26-28 in St. Cloud, Minnesota!
Two of the scholarships are for the full 3-day registration fees plus a $100 stipend towards housing (if needed).
Two additional scholarships cover the fees to attend classes for one of the 1-day events of the Festival Conference, either Friday or Saturday.
Applicants must be a full Handbell Musicians of America member, affiliated with a recognized member organization or participate in a group directed by a full Handbell Musicians of America member.
Recipients of the full event registration are expected to purchase and prepare the music and register to participate in an attending ensemble or register as an individual ringer to be placed into an ensemble.
Recipients of the 1-day registration do not participate in rehearsals.
Information and an application form for the 2026 Festival Conference will be posted here by February 1, 2026 .
